    Mini-pints with big mouths.

    I was so glad to see 1/2 pint jars with a wide mouth. All my canning is done with wide mouth jars so now when I make jams and jellies I don't have to have 2 sizes of lids and bands.

    Some things need small jars

    It isn't often that we need a canning jar this small but it is wonderful to have this option for the times when we do. It is a beautiful jar, and perfect when gifting to singles or older couples or for unique canning items that are best served in small containers. All sealed nicely the first time, and look great.

    Great for pepper jelly

    I had regular jelly jars for my jam but used these to differentiate the pepper jelly. My friends liked the size to make store homemade sugar scrub as well.
