- Use sugar, artificial sweetener, SPLENDA® No Calorie Sweetener, Granular, honey or just naturally sweet ripe fruit.
- To reduce foam in your cooked jams or jellies, simply add up to 1/2 tsp butter or margarine to the recipe before cooking.
- Always follow tested recipes, such as those found in the package insert or in the Ball Blue Book® Guide to Preserving.
