Great resource book for home canning! Have had book for 25 years and got updated version this year. Must have if you plan to home preserve. Some great recipes too, trying bread and butter pickles for first time this year although have not tasted yet as they have to "cure" but certain they will be delicious!
The only thing that disappointed me was that the book was "forced" into the box and the corners were bent and crumpled. It still is the same book, the info is great, but I hope to give my items that "used and abused" look on my own terms.
I first read all the great information, then Made My Strawberry Preserves. it turned out so Beautifully. Thank you for such a Great Book. Linda Malnati.
Excellent chapter included on dehydrating foods.
I like this book so much that I bought 4 of them. One for my daughter, one for my daughter-in-law, one for my niece and one for myself. I had one from the 1990's, and it got old and worn and thought I would up date with a new one.
