This Ball® wide-mouth funnel is heat resistant to help you safely and easily fill jars to the appropriate headspace. It is designed to fit regular-mouth and wide-mouth jars. The blue translucent plastic lets you see the exact level of the food while filling the jar. The actual funnel opening is a 5-in diameter on top and a 2-in. diameter on the bottom. The overall length of the product is 7-in. long.

THE FUNNEL IS NOT THE SIZE ADVERTISED. THE ACTUAL DIAMETER OF THE TOP OF THE FUNNEL IS 4 7/8 INCHES. THE BOTTOM DIAMETER IS 2 INCHES. THIS IS A FAR CRY FROM THE 8 INCH SIZE ADVERTISED AND WHAT I PAID FOR.

Wide Mouth Funnel

Orignally thought the base would be wider to securely fit onto the wide mouth jars. Not so. Just another funnel the same size as original but made out of a lighter/thinner material. Flimsy product.

misleading picture - not what i ordered

I was expecting from your picture that the base of the funnel was made for wide mouth jars. Instead I received funnels that are regular width at the base. I am extremely disappointed with the product, because it is not what I wanted.
