I've been using this concept for several years, but normal sized ice cube trays are too large and hard to empty. These trays are vlexible, sized perfectly, and have lids to keep flavors in/out.
Really like the ability to freeze with a cover on to help maintain flavors. Only suggestion would be to make the cubes in strips and then you could use for different flavors more easily.
Although these are intended for freezing herbs, I use them to freeze my excess farm fresh eggs. These are great. The "egg cubes" come out cleanly, place in a freezer storage bag, and the "trays" are ready to use again. I plan to use them for their intended purpose as well!
This product works well for fresh herbs in oil for my use; saves loads of time when looking to whip up something with ingredients already on hand.
This is the product I've been waiting for to preserve some of the wonderful summer herb bounty from my garden. I've already made 3 different kinds of herb cubes, and am ready for round two. I can't wait to have all of those flavorful herbs in the dead of winter to brighten up our food.
