Although these are intended for freezing herbs, I use them to freeze my excess farm fresh eggs. These are great. The "egg cubes" come out cleanly, place in a freezer storage bag, and the "trays" are ready to use again. I plan to use them for their intended purpose as well!
This product works well for fresh herbs in oil for my use; saves loads of time when looking to whip up something with ingredients already on hand.
This is the product I've been waiting for to preserve some of the wonderful summer herb bounty from my garden. I've already made 3 different kinds of herb cubes, and am ready for round two. I can't wait to have all of those flavorful herbs in the dead of winter to brighten up our food.
Bought for Christmas present not for personal use, but impressed by the quality
I am an experienced herb gardener (also a garden writer) who has always avoided the "ice cube" method of freezing herbs. Felt it was fiddly and awkward, and resulted in burned and frosty herbs. This little tray is so much better than using plastic or metal trays without covers. Thanks for inventing it.
